Open glaze day

OPEN GLAZE DAY Welcoming the January Workshop Participants to finish their work or associated independent potters seeking a new glazing experience during the holidays. 107 GLAZE ON GLAZE test tiles are available for analysis.

The kiln will be fired to cone six oxidation on Monday, February 3rd, for pick up three days later.

Kiln firing costs per size of work according to the chart (to include power and glaze usage).

For those who are NEW TO GLAZING, a one-off $20 session fee for instruction is required.

Pottery in the dark for the NEW MOON/WHERO

This workshop is designed for those who want a different experience in creating pots on the wheel.

Ideal for:

  • beginners who want to learn by touch and have an experience

  • those who already know how to throw, to lift their game by using their intuition and feeling rather than seeing.

This workshop will run in short sessions, with each participant creating up to 5 pieces within the time frame. You will choose your favourite piece to be finished.

$50 pp min. 6
