Kids Clay Freestyle Pottery Hand-building Session
OPEN SESSION for Rural Community Schools: everyone is welcome to this freestyle hand-building pottery session.
$5 for one piece of work up to 300g clay, coloured slips and two kiln firings.

Fermentation pot making
Get ready for winter by creating your own fermentation pot in this fun and instructional pottery workshop.
As the harvest arrives and the weather cools, fermentation is a great and natural way to preserve nutritious vegetables for the winter head. Learn how to create a functional yet beautiful fermentation pot, perfect for preserving delicious sauerkraut or tangy kimchi.
This workshop is perfect for all skill levels, whether you're a pottery newbie or a seasoned potter and fermenter!
Get hands on! I’ll guide you through the fun and collaborative process of hand-building your pot, with some exciting wheel-throwing thrown in for creating the lid and that all-important fermentation channel.
Intimate and supportive: The workshops is capped at 6 people, ensuring you get personalised attention and plenty of help crafting a successful crock by the end of the day.

Try your hand at throwing a pot on the wheel, and embellishing it with your own creative style to create a quirky, fun plant pot for your home.
$55 and includes instruction, support, one-to-one guidance, clay, coloured slip, 2 kiln firings, and a kiln glaze.

Dinnerware set plates, bowls and cups
Make your set....plates, bowls or cups over this two-day session. Saturday is the making day, and Sunday is the finishing day. Glazing work will be a separate session.
$190 for 9 contact teaching hours including clay, tools equipment.
Bring a shared lunch to enjoy, along with Clare's homemade Kombucha.

Mold making for ceramics and pottery
One part mold making session for those of you who would like to create repeated pieces of work using drape or press molds. This would also be a good session to make your own wedging plaster table to recycle and dry out your clays.
This is a full day session 10 am to 3 pm and includes a shared lunch as well as Clare's homemade kombucha.
Cost will be:
$40 for demonstration only
$60 if you are bringing your own materials, forms and pre-made pieces to mold.
Cost will be $105 if you need plaster supply and housing forms.

This session includes instruction, clay, coloured slips, DIMOND CORE carving tools and equipment, kiln firings, and a clear glaze finish completed by your ceramic art facilitator.
Your investment will be $45, and bookings are limited to 6-8 people
