Cacao Cup Making and Tasting FULL class

  • Pot with Clare Waiteuna Valley Road Raglan New Zealand (map)

Delve into the ancient art of hand-pinching to create your own personalised cacao cup. As we shape the clay, we’ll take a moment to infuse it with our winter intentions, crafting a vessel that will nourish your body and spirit throughout the colder months. This workshop is a beautiful blend of ritual, creativity, and self-care, perfect for the mindful soul.

Make your own cacao cup using the traditional hand pinch method and use natural or coloured slips to decorate the outside. This workshop is excellent for beginners, intermediates, and advanced students.

We will be joined by Raglan-based Mamamuti Honest Cacao for a delicious and warming tasting of their Papua New Guinea Paste. It’s a uniquely rich cacao that will make you feel grounded, nourished and invigorated, with notes of caramel, butterscotch, spice and raisin.

Bring some patterns that you like and an intention.

Your investment will be $45, and bookings are limited to 6-8 people

This session includes:

  • one-to-one instruction

  • all clay

  • coloured slips

  • DIMOND CORE carving tools and equipment

  • kiln firings

  • a clear glaze finish.
